Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

We accept private pay and Aloha Care, including Quest Integration

We are seeking credentialing with: Ohana Care, Kaiser, Aloha Care, HMSA, and UHC

If your insurance company is not listed please let us know and we can look into credentialing. If you need assistance in how to apply for Hawaii MedQuest please ask.    

Some examples of our ABA Programs:

  • Community Safety - crossing the street safely, stranger danger

  • Social Skills- interacting with peers, interacting with community members

  • Functional Communication - Verbal Behavior, American Sign Language (ASL), Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices (AAC)

  • Toileting - evidenced based toilet training

  • Hygiene - tooth brushing, washing hands, bathing

  • Replacement behaviors - functional communication, social interaction skills, tolerance of denial and delay training

  • Social Skills Group - meeting in a group setting to work on functional skills

Special Education Curriculum/Instruction

We are a private school and our tuition costs can be found on the rate sheet at the bottom of this website.  Please call the school to discuss other funding sources, at this time we do not offer financial aid or scholarships.

We provide high quality, individually tailored special academic instruction, year round with a rolling enrollment period.

Some examples of our academic curriculum:

  • Core subjects: Math, Language Arts, Science, Health, PE

  • Community Service/Volunteer Component

  • Community Based Instruction

    • Swimming at the Pool or Beach

    • Trip to the local shopping center for functional purchases

    • Adaptive Physical Education at the community park

    • City bus trip to Library

    • Fun Friday in the community

  • Music Therapy

  • Culinary Arts

  • Movement/Yoga Class  

Home and Community Based Services

We are an established provider of Hawaii Section 1915, Home and Community Based Services Waiver for Participants with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities; Medicaid Waiver. 

If you have questions about  eligibility or how to apply for Home and Community Based Services, please call our office, we would be happy to assist you. 

In addition to what is listed under ABA Therapy and Special Education Instruction above, here are a few examples of what we might work on with our participants:

  • Leisure activity planning and participation

  • Functional communication

Parent Education and Consultation

Parent Education and Consultation facilitated by Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Senior Registered Behavior Technicians.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Each program is designed and overseen by an on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), licensed in the state of Hawaii.

Individualized Instruction by RBT

Each individualized program, designed by a BCBA, is implemented by Behavior Technicians. One to one and two to one. If needed, three to one services are available.

Occupational Therapy 

Assessment, consult and/or direct Occupational Therapy (OT) provided by Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed (OTR/L).

Speech Language Pathology

Assessment, consult and/or direct Speech Language Pathology services provided by Certified Speech Language Pathologist.

Mental Health Therapy

Assessment, consult and/or direct counseling services provided by Mental Health Counselors.

Instruction in American Sign Language

Individual and group instruction services provided by ASL Instructor. 

Medication Management

Medication Management service provided by Registered Nurse

Transportation Services 

We have a small fleet of vehicles which we use to transport our clients to and from our facility and the community (during scheduled participant sessions).

Many of our services are available to low income families.
