WHO WE ARE
Horizons Academy est. 1997.
Located in Kihei, Horizons Academy is a private, non-profit organization on Maui utilizing and implementing behavior analytic programs developed and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. We are committed to providing our keiki with exceptional care grounded in a spirit of Aloha.

OUR MISSION
Empowering, challenging and supporting our students to achieve educational, life, social, and vocational goals towards becoming an active and productive member of their community. Relying on the principles of applied behavior analysis and data based decision making.
Programs
We understand that no two individuals learn in the exact same way. Programs and treatment plans are customized and derived from information gathering via
evidenced-based assessments, interview and direct observation.

We promote flexibility and generalization. Strategies and interventions are frequently analyzed and adjusted according to the progress of each individual.

We encourage independence and individuality. Lessons and activities are personalized and based on needs and preferences of our participants.
